A photo walk made together
PolaWalk is a community photo walk organised by Berlin Photo Studio with Polaroid and Safelight Berlin. Beginners, experienced photographers and curious people meet, explore the city and make physical photographs together.
Latest edition — 12 September 2026
The September PolaWalk brought the community together on a shared route from Safelight Berlin to Berlin Photo Studio, with Polaroid photography, live painting by Julia Burmeister and a DJ set by Beatrice Testa.

The PolaWalk format
Small groups share a Polaroid Go camera and explore Berlin through creative prompts. The camera creates conversations, and each photograph becomes a shared memory. Practical details for the next edition will be published with its announcement.
PolaWalk fanzine open call
For photographs made on 12 September 2026, submit by 12 October 2026. The existing deadline is one month after each event.
Your PolaWalk Go Card
Keep your Go Card and bring it back to the next walk. It records the editions you have joined.

Can I book a place now?
Bookings are closed following the 12 September event. Registration will reopen when the next edition is announced.
Can I still submit photographs from September?
Yes. Participants in the 12 September 2026 PolaWalk can submit their photographs for the fanzine by 12 October 2026. Read the open-call rules before sending your files.
