A photo walk that leaves something behind

One day. Many points of view.

PolaWalk is a recurring community photo walk organised by Berlin Photo Studio with Polaroid and Safelight Berlin. Beginners, photographers and curious people explore the city in small groups and decide together when a moment deserves a photograph.

The project is not only about attending an event. The photographs return to Berlin Photo Studio, are developed and scanned, selected through an open call and brought together in a fanzine. Each edition becomes a small record of how different people saw the same day.

01

The first edition took place on 11 July 2026 at Berlin Photo Studio. The photographs throughout this page were made by participants using the reusable cameras during the event.

72 frames. No single version of Berlin.

The reusable cameras moved through different hands, groups and themes. The result is not one polished campaign image but a collective field of observations—personal, imperfect and made from inside the day.

This is a selection from the complete participant archive. The final fanzine is shaped through the open call.
