Polaroid Vision – autofocus instant SLR from the 1990s

The Polaroid Vision is an unusual folding instant single-lens-reflex camera designed around the compact Type 500 integral-film format. A 107mm f/12.3 lens, autofocus and through-the-lens viewing made it one of Polaroid’s more ambitious consumer cameras, while its sculptural folding body gives it strong appeal as a collectible or design object.

Important film compatibility

The Vision uses discontinued Polaroid Type 500 / Captiva film. It is not a Spectra camera and does not accept 600, SX-70, i-Type, Go or currently manufactured instant film. Surviving film is expired; the camera is therefore sold primarily as a collectible or prop.
