BW / Daido 6 ISO – 135/36 High-Contrast Print Film
Daido 6 ISO film is an extremely low-sensitivity black and white print film originally designed for motion picture release prints. Unlike standard camera films, Daido 6 ISO film was developed to convert a negative image into a positive projection print for cinema use, resulting in exceptionally fine grain and very high contrast.
Because of its ultra-low ISO rating, Daido 6 ISO film produces incredibly sharp images with outstanding detail and strong tonal separation. Photographers often use this film for experimental photography, studio portraits, and long exposures where maximum sharpness and dramatic contrast are desired.
Comparable to classic motion picture print stocks such as Kodak 5302 and Kodak 2302, Daido 6 ISO film offers a unique photographic look rarely found in standard black and white films.
Daido 6 ISO Film – Experimental High-Contrast Photography
The Daido 6 ISO film is ideal for photographers who enjoy pushing the boundaries of analog photography. Its extremely low sensitivity allows for incredibly fine grain and crisp detail, making it suitable for controlled lighting environments and creative experimentation.
Because of its strong contrast characteristics, Daido 6 ISO film produces dramatic blacks and bright highlights that give images a striking graphic quality.
Photographers often use Daido 6 ISO film for:
• Studio portrait photography
• Fine art and experimental photography
• Long exposure photography
• Architectural photography
• High-contrast graphic imagery
This film invites photographers to explore creative techniques such as slow shutter speeds, intense lighting setups, or unusual development methods.
