Creative practice
Beatrice describes herself as empathetic, sensitive and friendly, with a strong drive in both her personal and professional life. These qualities shape the way she observes the world: from different perspectives, attentive to details and layers that can easily pass unnoticed.
Through photography and artistic practice, she tries to give those hidden aspects a visible form. Her approach is personal, experimental and guided more by curiosity than by rigid academic rules.
Joining the studio · July 2026
“Emiliano gave me the opportunity to prove who I am and what I can do when someone believes in me.”
Beatrice became part of Berlin Photo Studio at the beginning of July 2026, following a particularly challenging period in her life. She spent time in the studio, showed her passion and made her willingness to learn visible through daily participation.
What began as an opportunity quickly became a place where commitment, friendship, respect and transparency could exist together. Those relationships remain as meaningful to her as the technical work itself.
Inside the studio
Listening to customers, understanding what they need and introducing them to the studio, its services and projects.
Bringing precision and reliability to the daily structure behind orders, materials and studio activity.
Supporting the path from processed negative to digital image, archive and safely prepared delivery.
Developing film-processing skills, assisting when needed and gradually moving toward analogue printing.
Before Berlin Photo Studio
Beatrice began shooting film in 2020. Later, she became involved with independent, self-managed spaces including Camera Oscura De Lollis Underground in Rome.
That experience gave her a different way of understanding photography: not as a fixed discipline, but as a space for experiments, mistakes, collective knowledge and unexpected possibilities.
A meaningful beginning
One of Beatrice’s strongest early memories is entering the darkroom and loading film for the first time not simply as a hobby, but as part of a professional environment. The same excitement continues through projects such as the market, the disposable-camera project and the ideas still being developed.
Working here has changed her relationship with both work and life. It is one of the first times she has invested sustained energy, attention and commitment into something she genuinely loves.
Selected photographs
Beatrice’s black-and-white photographs move through public space with an eye for rhythm, isolation and the marks people leave behind. Architecture becomes a stage, while passing figures introduce uncertainty and life.

What comes next
Beatrice wants to keep developing her technical darkroom skills—from processing film to making analogue prints. At the same time, she wants to shoot more, experiment without fear and use mistakes as part of finding a clearer direction.
For her, creativity is a continuous process of deconstruction and reconstruction. A healthy routine, consistency and conscious daily choices give that process somewhere to grow.
