You do not need to know every emulsion. Begin with where you will photograph and how you want the result to feel.

01 · Start with the light

Daylight film for sun and everyday colour; tungsten film for warm indoor light and cinematic night scenes.

02 · Choose the ISO

Low ISO gives fine grain in bright light. Higher ISO gives more flexibility when the light becomes scarce.

03 · Match development

Open each film to check whether it needs C-41, ECN-2, B&W or E-6 processing before you buy.
