Martina is drawn to people she can connect with—whether they are strangers or already part of her life. Genuine relationships are the main inspiration behind both her photography and the way she moves through the world.
She brings that same curiosity, empathy and open mind into the studio. For Martina, the human exchange around a photograph matters as much as the image itself.
From customer to team member

Martina first entered Berlin Photo Studio as a customer while working in bars. After getting to know Emiliano and the team, her passion for film photography and willingness to learn opened the possibility of joining the studio.
At 24, she sees this as the beginning of a longer personal and creative journey. There is no single defining project yet: the daily work itself is meaningful because every task adds another piece of knowledge.

What the studio changed
The final image is only one part of film.
Working at Berlin Photo Studio has taught Martina to appreciate every part of the analogue process—not only the finished photograph. It has also reinforced the idea that learning never stops and that curiosity is one of the most useful skills a person can bring.
Her next goal is to become more confident in the darkroom and to understand every stage of analogue photography. Alongside that technical path, she wants to combine photography with poetry and writing to tell more personal stories.
