Can airport CT scanners damage photographic film?
Yes. Current film-manufacturer guidance warns that CT cabin-baggage scanners can fog undeveloped film, including lower-ISO film.
Should undeveloped film travel in checked luggage?
No. Keep undeveloped and exposed-but-unprocessed film in your carry-on baggage and request a hand inspection.
Does this card guarantee a hand inspection?
No. It makes the request clear, but airport security staff and local rules always have final authority.
