Vittoriosi
Founder, photographer and creative director

Background
Photography as memory, language and encounter.
Emiliano Vittoriosi was born in Naples in 1990 and raised in Sant’Anastasia. He moved to Berlin in 2015 and has worked with photography since 2008, alongside a long practice in graphic design and creative direction.
His work moves between portraiture, reportage, black-and-white photography, publishing and the everyday life of Berlin-Wedding. The camera is not only a tool for producing images; it is a way to meet people, understand a place and preserve what might otherwise disappear.
The studio
Why Berlin Photo Studio began.
Emiliano founded Berlin Photo Studio to connect technical photographic work with community. The studio brings laboratory services, a shop, workshops, publishing, events and conversation into one physical space.
His role moves between the visible and invisible parts of the business: photography, creative direction, film production, teaching, systems, collaborations and the continual work of raising the studio’s standard.
The aim is not to make analog photography exclusive or mysterious. It is to keep it human, accessible and alive.
