CineStill 800T – Tungsten Cinematic Film for Medium Format

CineStill 800T is a tungsten-balanced color negative film originally derived from Kodak Vision3 motion picture film. Designed for low-light photography and cinematic color rendering, this film is famous for its glowing halation around light sources and its distinctive night photography look.

In the 120 medium format version, CineStill 800T delivers stunning detail, smooth grain, and dramatic colors across a much larger negative — perfect for photographers using medium format cameras like Hasselblad, Mamiya, Bronica, Pentax 67, and Rolleiflex.

The film is balanced for tungsten lighting (3200K), which makes it ideal for night scenes, street photography, concerts, neon lights, and indoor environments. When shot in daylight, it can be corrected using an 85B filter or adjusted during scanning.

Unlike motion picture film, CineStill removes the remjet layer, allowing the film to be processed in standard C-41 chemistry.
