MIXED MEDIA

Cut, layer and rebuild the image.

Use photographs, textiles, paper, gold leaf, dried plants and found material to create balanced handmade collages.

Collage workshop with Blanca Rivas at Berlin Photo Studio
Why learn this?

The process changes how you understand the photograph.

Collage gives photographs another life. Instead of treating the image as untouchable, you can cut, cover, repeat and combine it with materials that change its meaning, texture and rhythm.

This guide prepares you for the session. The live product page remains the source for current booking options, availability, inclusions and price.

Inside the workshop

Four connected stages.

01

Collect

Choose photographs and materials with useful colour, texture or memory.

Compose

Test scale, balance, negative space and relationships before fixing anything.

03

Layer

Combine paper, textiles, botanicals, film negatives or decorative elements.

04
