Water Melon 50 ISO – Limited Summer ECN-2 Film

Water Melon 50 is a limited-edition 35mm colour film made for bright days, spontaneous trips and the small moments that make summer feel endless.

Based on Fujifilm 250D 8553 motion-picture film and offered at ISO 50, this roll is designed to be photographed when light is generous: sunny streets, beaches, parks, outdoor portraits, festivals, road trips and long afternoons with friends.

Fujifilm Motion-Picture Film in 35mm

Water Melon 50 is based on Fujifilm 250D 8553, a daylight motion-picture film adapted here for still photography. Each 135 cartridge is hand-loaded by Berlin Photo Studio and contains 36 exposures.

As with repurposed motion-picture film, the final colour, contrast and grain can be influenced by exposure, lighting, storage, development and scanning. This natural variation is part of the character of the film rather than a defect.

ECN-2 Development

This film is intended for the ECN-2 process. For the expected cinematic result, select ECN-2 development and inform your laboratory that the roll contains motion-picture film.

You can bring or send the exposed roll to Berlin Photo Studio for ECN-2 development and high-resolution scanning in Berlin.
